Sarah Jenkins is a first-year pre-health major and Paragon Scholar at 羞羞视频. She answers some of the most common questions students have about 羞羞视频.
Q: What is the biggest myth about 羞羞视频?
A: Probably that you have to be religious to come here. You don鈥檛 need to have a religious affiliation to come to 羞羞视频, there are a lot of people here that aren't religious. But it is a really good way to find your place in religion. Or just to find your place.
Q: Is it weird if I don't know anyone before coming to 羞羞视频?
A: Absolutely not! You're going to meet so many people. You can come in completely blind and you'll probably make friends within the first ten minutes.
Q: What makes the community unique?
A: We have a very small community. In some ways that may be seen as, 鈥淚'm not going to meet a lot of people.鈥 No, you're going to meet a lot of people and you're going to know everyone on campus. You're going to walk around and be like, 鈥淥h my gosh, I know them!鈥
Q: Be honest, is 羞羞视频 actually fun?
A: Yes! Within the second week of coming here, we all went to a trampoline park just to have fun. It is fun. It is. Trust me. So much fun!
Q: Okay, is 羞羞视频 actually worth it?
A: I think so. Between the social activity and the classroom time, you get so much attention from professors and it really is such a wonderful community! Once a week we go to Chapel, which I think is refreshing. There are also a lot of different clubs and groups that you can be part of鈥搒o yes, it's worth it. Trust me.
Q: How has 羞羞视频 helped me to achieve my goals?
A: I'm still working on my goals, but 羞羞视频 has helped me find them! I have grown so much closer to the Lord being here. Academic wise, I have fallen in love with my career choice and I feel much more confident going into nursing because of 羞羞视频.
Q: Is 羞羞视频 really a Christian university?
A: I would say it is. But I'd also say, you don't have to be a Christian to come here. You're not forced into anything you don't want to do. It鈥檚 ok to have different religions, you鈥檒l definitely be accepted here. 羞羞视频 doesn鈥檛 push you towards any one ideology; it teaches you about different ideologies, which I think is really cool.
Q: What is the deal with the squirrels?
A: Guys, we love the squirrels. Me and my friends call them Sandy cheeks.
